DataRanger simplifies the process of converting data files from mainframe,
minicomputer or other personal computers for use on your PC.  Incompatible
data files can be easily changed into new formats for use by programs
including:
               Microsoft Excel
               Lotus 123
               dBase
               SuperCalc


The version of DataRanger included in this Demo is completely operational,
with the exception of being limited to 20 output records.

We would like to thank you for downloading this DataRanger Demonstration, and
offer the following steps for successful operation.

    The demonstration must be run from a directory called \RANGER.
    Create this directory, then copy all files that were extracted
    into the \RANGER directory.

    Be sure to include your Windows 3.0 directory in your PATH.

    For best results, a Windows compatible mouse should be installed.

    Move to the \RANGER directory.

    To run the automated demonstration, simply type DEMO [Enter]

    To run the DataRanger program, type WIN RANGER [Enter]



System requirements for DataRanger include a personal computer using
Intel 286/386/486; 640K memory (minimum, 2MB recommended); EGA or VGA
monitor; MS-DOS V3.1 or above; Microsoft Windows 3.0 or above.
