Known problems -------------- Defective coprocessors. Mercury exercises the math coprocessor fairly thoroughly, and a coprocessor which is not rated at the correct clock speed may not perform correctly. If you get mysterious crashes, try turning of the math coprocessor with SET 87=N at the DOS prompt. The LOAN.EKA example in chapter 6 of the manual is stated incorrectly. The file provided on the disk has the proper formulation. User-defined functions cannot be used in a problem where all the variables are complex.
