This Notepad is actually an Ascii editor.  Ascii docuements of no more than  25k (depending on available memory) may be brought in here and edited.  To open up a file press ALT O and follow the menu instructions. Press ALT S to  size this pad.

Some ideas on how to use this Scratch Pad are:

1) Write down names and phone numbers of freinds or clients you don't want to enter into your database so that you may have a quickie phone list.

2) Create a scripting type of feature using the ALT O command to open up different files.  You could write a question in this pad and depending on the  answer, open up another file with more questions, ect.. 

3) If you have some general notes that don't belong anywhere else, type 
them in here.
