We have created this listing of Maine's Public BBS's to assist the
modem using public in locating information which is so readily
available to them. The list is sorted alphabetically by name. We
encourage you to use and support all of them. We of course, grant no
warranty of the validity of this information, but strive to do the
best we can. If you discover an error please report it!

MaineNET BBS is the official board for the MEBBSLST file, and will
always have the most current version of this file available for
download as MEBBSxx.ZIP. (xx is the revision number) MaineNET also
is the place to leave information regarding inclusion, deletion, or
updates for the next revision. I also monitor the MeSysops and
TalkToME conferences which are echoed among several of the listed BBS's.
(Address all messages to Eric Rodzen.) Thank you!

Following is the format for the presentation of the information

There is planned software upgrade to Skyline BBS 1.2! This software
allows for the development of hierarchical menu structures, which will
be used to make logical menu trees for each area of interest.
The areas for Apple and Atari will be eliminated because of NO use.
These areas have been in affect since May, 1989 with interest indicated.
The 40 meg drive is scheduled to be replaced with 105 meg unit early
next year with additional 105 meg drives as money permits. Also may
upgrade to a multi-line system if use indicates the need.

Comments:
My goal in running a BBS, is to be as different and unique, as a
board can be with all the other excellent boards that are available
to you as a user of them.

I am in the 'development' stages of setting the system up for users
to get the greatest use of the board. If you log onto the board,
and you see anything you have a question(s) about, PLEASE let me
know about it/them in a 'Comment to the SysOp'.

Any ideas, suggestions, or comments you have, usually leads to a
more interesting system for you and others alike.

Also, if you are a TEACHER, or a SysOp let the me know and you will
be registered in those conferences respectively.
