This archive contains several CAL (Cakewalk Application Language) programs
for use with Cakewalk Professional Version 3.0.  CAL is a powerful addition
to Cakewalk that allows you to extend editing commands to do anything you
want beyond the standard functions supplied with Cakewalk.  Here is a brief
explanation of what each program does.  Note that 'RANDTIME.CAL' is a fixed
version of the sample program included with Cakewalk that had a major bug
in it.

RANDTIME.CAL    'unquantize' event timing to give a realistic feel
RANDVEL.CAL     randomizes note velocities by a factor
CRES.CAL        scales existing velocities to give crescendos

(Note: the following are variations on the supplied Cakewalk programs. These
       versions keep every nth event as opposed to deleting every nth event)

KEEPWHL.CAL     thins pitch wheel data
KEEPCTRL.CAL    thins continuous controller data
KEEPAFT.CAL     thins aftertouch data
