      Thanks for your interest in "SortIt". SortIt is a very fast
      text sorting program that will sort very large files.

      SortIt is not a "free" or "public domain" program. It is a
      copyrighted software program of Emerald Coast Software of
      Panama City, Florida and it is distributed as a "Shareware"
      type program.

      A shareware type program is one which you are allowed to try
      out and evaluate before paying for the use of the program.

      Emerald Coast Software''s policy is to allow you to use their
      software programs for up to 30 days before you are required
      to pay a small license or registration fee for your continued
      use of the program.

      If you have received this program from a distributor of "public
      domain" or "free" software and paid a fee, then you have only
      paid the distributor for his copying and shipping expense. No
      portion of this fee is paid to the author of the software.

      To license your continued use of "SortIt" the small fee must be
      paid directly to Emerald Coast Software.

      Upon receipt of the license fee, you will be sent a "License
      Authorization Code" which when entered into your copy of
      SortIt, will remove all indication of unlicensed information
      in the program.

      The unlicensed information shown on the screen will be replaced
      with "Licensed to:" (your name) on the screen. This will make
      both of feel better.

      Please send all registration/license fees, comments or suggestions
      to the above address. The $3 fee must be in USA funds. This is a
      small price to pay for the good feelings and piece of mind you get
      when you register a shareware program.
