Version 3.00: WS300.zip
a. Retroarchive's original is actually for two(2) different terminals (WS30.ZIP)
- WS.COM = IBM 3101 terminal
- WSU.COM = Visual 200 terminal
b. MERGPRIN.OVR = is for WordStar 2.26, not 3.00
c. Most of the files contain erroneous bytes of data at the end of the file,
which is quite typical of some CP/M. Mine did not have the extra bytes
Version 3.30: WS330.zip
a. I believe Retroarchive's is for a KayPro '84 terminal (Wskpro33.zip),
which is why the WS.INS is only 50,304 bytes rather than 58,240 bytes
- WS.COM = KayPro '84
b. WSU.COM = is for WordStar 3.00, not 3.30
Version 4.00: WS400.zip (both files and for floppy disks)
a. Retroarchive's original is actually for the Zenith or Heath terminal
- WSU.COM = Zenith or Heath terminal
b. As far as I have been able to determine,
version 4.0 never had a file WSU.COM, only WS.COM
