No bells and whistles, but if you need a utility exactly for this purpose, then this is the one to get. One useful feature in ViceVersa Free, lacking in some more feature-laden utilities, is the ability to align the contents of the selected folders correctly side by side. The display method of the comparison results is excellent. Easy to understand. The downside is that if you wish to change folders the navigation is rather crude.
